About MABSOOTa

MABSOOTa is the design alter-ego of Minneapolis-based graphic designer Chrissy Culver. Chrissy has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the acclaimed design program at Georgia State University and has been designing for large and small clients for a variety of applications. Chrissy also has a strong background in the traditional visual arts and has been told she can draw quite well. She also prefers writing about herself in the third person because it sounds like the back inside flap “about the author” parts of books, but then again who ever really reads those (other than her?).

WHAT DOES “MABSOOTa” MEAN, ANYWAY?

It’s Arabic for “happy girl.”
